So when I started on my bathroom remodel (new custom vanity plans), I also wanted to repair the walls and tape the drywall joints. Sanding anything, especially drywall, is more like a chore to me but when I came across this Hyde Tools® Vacuum Hand Sanding Kit at my local home improvement store, I knew I needed this tool in my life!

The Hyde Tools® Vacuum Hand Sanding Kit comes with the sander, a 6ft. vacuum hose, a coupling adapter so the hose can be connected to an existing hose on a wet/dry vacuum, and a reversible drywall sanding screen. The wet/dry vacuum removes the dust as you are sanding making this project a breeze!

It was so easy to use – I attached the sanding screen to the sander, attached the hose and got to work. Having the vacuum hose attachment was so convenient because there was no dust to clean up once I was done! It definitely cut down on the cleanup time for the project and there was no residual dust in the room anywhere!

In addition to this drywall sander, I also own the Hyde Tools® Dust Free Sponge Sander (which I did receive as part of the ambassador program) and I used it when I sanded legs on a chair. It truly lived up to the name “dust free”!
