An Easy to Build Wall Mounted Fold-Down Table
This is really a cool idea – a table with storage that is “hidden” within artwork! Sounds crazy, right? It is actually similar to a Murphy bed… The “table” is the frame and back side of the artwork, and inside are a few shelves for storage! When unfolded, the table is bar height which makes this the perfect piece for surprise entertaining! Plus, the folding wall table is perfect for small spaces. As usual, the free plans to build a Napa Style inspired fold-down table is an easy and quick build!

Step One
Cut the pieces for the main box. Drill pocket holes in the ends of each of the shorter pieces and assemble the box as shown using glue and 1-1/4″ pocket hole screws.
Step Two
Cut the piece for the back and drill pocket holes in all four edges. Insert into the box frame with and secure with glue and 1-1/4″ pocket hole screws.
Step Three

Step Four
Cut the piece for the table top (which is also the front of the cabinet). Attach to the box with a continuous hinge at the bottom. Attach the magnetic catches or cabinet clips to the inside of the upper part of the box as well as to the inside of the doors.
Step Five
Cut the pieces for the front frame (the legs). Drill pocket holes in each end of the shorter pieces and assemble using glue and 1-1/4″ pocket hole screws. Attach to the outside face of the table top (which will actually be the underside of the table) using a continuous hinge.
Finish as desired. When attaching to the wall, the table top (when opened) will be 36-3/4″ from the floor to the top surface. Use long screws and fasten to the wall studs.
