A Media Stand by Reader Request

These plans to build Matt’s Media Stand are the companion plans to Matt’s Media Tower. This is a simple, and straight forward plan featuring three doors with shelves in each cubby. The doors can also be built as frames with speaker cloth as the panel so that the doors won’t have to be opened to utilize media equipment! How cool is that?

Finish as desired!

This plan would be a great “first build” for those new to woodworking! The finished piece would also look fabulous with the Glue-Resist Technique used on the doors before staining! Hmmmm…. What would be the materials list and dimensions if I needed to make this cabinet 7.5ft wide?

    • CherTexter

It would just be a matter of adding the difference in length to the horizontal boards and re-spacing the (or adding another) dividers. The additional length would be added to the boards in the materials list. Hope this helps!
