The Aches and Pains of Organizing a Bedroom and Building Under-Bed Storage Part 2

Reveal of the Rolling Under-Bed Storage Boxes

I am participating in a sponsored campaign hosted by Advil®. All opinions stated are my own.

A few weeks ago, I was in a mad rush to finish remodeling my daughter’s room before she got home from her summer trip to her grandparents’ house. I built a new bed for her, made a new quilt, and started building rolling under-bed storage boxes. I am so proud to say that the boxes (as well as the entire room) are done! The boxes were so quick and easy to build that I had them completed in a day! So now, I’d like to share my hard work!

The boxes fit perfectly under her bed with a little room to spare! I wanted to build the boxes as a place to store the bazillion blankets she has and to keep them off the floor. The boxes are the perfect height with plenty of room to clear the side rails.

I spray-painted them white and left the bottom of the boxes in the natural wood. The handles were spray painted coral to coordinate with her new quilt.

I worked so hard on this room in a short amount of time. I was really tired, as well as achy from all of the work (it was so worth it!). When I got too achy (I do have a hip that gives me a bit of problem), I used Fast Acting Advil® to help ease the discomfort so I could keep going. It worked very quickly to ease the pain in my hip!
