Gift Ideas for the DIYer

The Perfect Gift Ideas for the DIYer on Your List!

The holidays are rolling up quickly, can you believe it? My life is a whirlwind as it is and it took a good look at the calendar to grind all of that to a screeching halt! I need to get my act together quickly! I’ve compiled a list of a few gift ideas for the DIYer in your life, or maybe even for yourself! These are all products that I own and use regularly. I am also an affiliate of  The Home Depot so if you click on the link in the right sidebar and complete an order, I get a commission of that sale. (Just for clarity, I’m not asking you to do this – I’m just mentioning it! Transparency is everything!)

Anyway, I bought this killer Ryobi combo kit for Matt as an early Christmas gift. I figured he could use it while working on the Rebel house. The kit features a cordless drill console, a cordless 5-1/2″ circular saw console, two 18 volt lithium batteries, and a charger. It is on sale at The Home Depot for $99.00 while supplies last. What a steal! The  saw is perfect for those who do light DIY work or for smaller home improvement projects. We used it to cut a few boards and I fell in love… I had to go buy a kit for myself (I didn’t want to share)! They have tons of other power tool combo kits that would make fabulous gifts! Get Holiday Savings Now!

How about a Kreg jig? I use mine in almost all of the projects I build as well as the plans I draw. The jig is easy to use, and creates very strong and professional looking joints. It really is well worth the money! Check out the Gift Center for more fabulous ideas!

Are you in the market for a brad nailer? I just recently purchased the Ridgid 18 gauge brad nailer and couldn’t be happier! It is lightweight, and has a clear cover over the channel so I can see how many nails I have left before I have to reload. Shop Power Tools at The Home Depot!

Does the DIYer on your list have a favorite type of screw, nail, or glue they use? I never seem to have enough screws on hand! A box of screws or nails, and a bottle of glue (my favorite is Gorilla Wood Glue!) would make an excellent and unexpected gift!

Did you know that The Home Depot offers Free Ship to Store or Home. Now Available on Over 400,000 Items.? I use the Ship to Store service frequently (because I am always shopping there) and my products arrive very quickly. I just ordered a gallon of Mod Podge (yes, The Home Depot carries gallon bottles of Mod Podge online!!!) and it arrived within three days! How is that for service??

The only one safe enough for our house is the wood glue, and that’s even questionable. =)
