I made this board for Mr. Awesome for our anniversary representing some of the bottles of wine we’d shared over the past year. I thought I had enough corks but apparently not… This is still a work in progress! Most wine bottle corks are no longer “cork”, they are rubber which works even better for this project [...] 
Awhile back, I wrote an article for The Design Confidential on How to Replace Windows . I’ve just recently upgraded both of the kids’ bedrooms with new windows. Awhile back, I bought some ice cream that came in a pretty nifty plastic container (it was good, too!). I saved it because I thought I might be able to use it for something. I use sponge brushes all the time and buy them in bulk. I have a ton of them but [...] Making a custom floor cloth to reflect your style isn’t hard! Its very inexpensive, too, using regular canvas fabric and non-slip rug backing! Materials: Canvas fabric Non-slip rug backing Scissors Iron & board Sewing machine Paint & stencils Scotchguard or other water repellant Let’s get started! Cut the canvas into the size desired. My boyfriend, Matt, just graduated from college. I am so proud of him… Not only did he serve our country (he’s retired military) but he graduated Magna Cum Laude, with honors and the whole deal! He has worked so hard and deserves all of the accolades he’s received.
